Our Jacquard Weave
With our cotton jacquard weaving, the patterns, symbols and pictures were woven directly into the cotton sling. Beforehand, a file was specially created for the special loom. This was the only way to create our design. Each warp thread to be skipped had to be marked in the file. You can imagine that this is a lot of work for a ready-made sling.

A special jacquard weaving machine is needed to weave the pattern into the cotton sling fabric. Generally, all yarns can be used for this – regardless of whether it is cotton, hemp or linen. Our choice was noble, cosy cotton – just right for you and your baby.
Our jacquard weave is very hard-wearing and durable. This makes it perfect for our mariblum cotton slings. We have taken great care to ensure that there are not too many skipped warp threads. This makes our slings and ring slings even more valuable and they are not prone to the unwanted thread pulls. The weave is robust, yet very easy to care for and offers a classy look.
